Gossen Metrawatt Seculife UP, Ultrasound wattmeter for power measurement in ultrasound systems.
The Seculife UP ultrasound power meter is designed for testing diagnostic and therapeutic transducers.
Ultrasound wattmeters have been in use worldwide since 1977 and serve as a recognized standard for the certification of power output from medical transducers.
The compact and lightweight instrument meets all the requirements of a portable tester with the reliability and time-tested performance of the Seculife series.
The Seculife UP is equipped with a test tank with a diameter of 5 inches and a height of 3½ inches. The most reliable and repeatable method for measuring ultrasonic power is the acoustic radiation force process. The transducer under test is centered on an air-bearing 45° cone target in degassed water. The connection is established with a precision scale with a resolution of ±0.15 W.
